Assistance for Unemployed Workers

Worker Unemployment Benefits - Information on UI benefits can be found online or by telephone (toll-free) at 1-800-494-4944. Eligible workers may apply on-line and file for weekly benefits or they may apply by telephone.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are receiving Wisconsin Unemployment Insurance, you must register on the Job Center of Wisconsin web site and post your resume. Please meet with your local Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Case Manager for assistance.

Wisconsin also requires anyone collecting UI benefits to participate in Reemployment Services in accordance with federal law. Learn more about Worker Profiling and Reemployment Services.
